Hands-on Workshop on Archaeobotany and Environmental Archaeology in Central Asia

This workshop was dedicated to advanced environmental and archaeological science methods, with a focus on Central Asia. It was tailored for students passionate about studying ancient plant remains and the ecological contexts of past human societies. With a particular emphasis on archaeobotany, this training provided a rich exploration of established and innovative analytical methods. Students from developing countries gained hands-on experience and in-depth theoretical knowledge across various analytical techniques essential for understanding plant-based evidence in archaeological contexts. This workshop combined lectures, hands-on sessions, and case studies, providing an engaging opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
